The Program we have in place is to push you towards your potential and give true insight on what it means to be a pro. We want to teach players what is expected of them daily to get better, develop as a person and player. Our goal is to shape our athletes to be the modern example of a successful athlete and have a positive impact in their communities and Society.

The Program aims to build the support system needed for the modern day player to be successful while still implementing traditional values such as fueling competition, developing fundamentals, creating the foundation to be successful while playing a team game. Game Seven is here to cater the needs of the modern day committed basketball player.

Game Seven is here to elevate our players to be better than what they were yesterday. Get Serious about your development today.

MEET TYLER

FOUNDER AND TRAINER

Basketball has been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. From my days as a varsity athlete to working across nearly every level of the game—AAU Director, Basketball Operations Assistant with the Windy City Bulls, and Assistant Player Development Coach for the Chicago Sky—I’ve dedicated my career to understanding what it truly takes to help athletes succeed.

Through those experiences, I’ve seen the gaps that exist for talented players and families trying to navigate the path to college and professional basketball. That’s why I started Game Seven—to provide a complete, trusted, and affordable development experience that gives athletes access to the same quality resources found in elite prep programs, without the overwhelming cost.

My mission is simple: to help players and families make the most of their time, effort, and resources—developing well-rounded athletes who are prepared to compete, earn opportunities, and thrive on and off the court.

After serving two years as an assistant at Sewanee, he was named the 24th head coach for the men's basketball team on April 30, 2019. During his tenure, Emerson has compiled a 50-59 record over five seasons, leading to 12 All-Conference selections and 36 players named to the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Academic Honor Roll. The Tigers celebrated a remarkable turnaround in 2023, winning the SAA Tournament championship and reaching NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019, with four players earning All-SAA honors, including Russ Marr, who made history by scoring over 600 points in a season.

With a wealth of experience, he previously served as an coach at Williams College, where he helped the Ephs achieve an impressive 53-29 record, including a remarkable Final Four run in 2016-17. In addition to his time at Williams, Emerson coached at MIT, guiding the Engineers to a 20-9 record and a conference. As a standout student-athlete at Williams, he was part of two Final Four, boasting an impressive overall record of 93-22.

Brian adds immense value to our Game Seven athletes and we are thrilled to have him on board.

OUR APPROACH

Game Seven takes a personal approach to training by creating an environment that allows athletes to get to know themselves as basketball players. We pride ourselves in having a collaborative approach between the athlete and trainer to determine the best training methods to elevate their game. Each player is unique, so Game Seven analyzes each players position and play style to develop a complete basketball player.

Player development is a key component to staying ahead of the competition. Our game situational training helps our athletes adapt to the rapid growth of the game and develop the critical thinking skills that will set them apart.

At Game Seven, we aim to create memorable and lifelong relationships with our clients. Our athletes are more than clients, they are family! Game Seven is professional personal training & mentorship environment, as we believe the greater the relationship, the better progress we will see on and off the court.

Tyler College Boys.HEIC

Tyler is a phenomenal trainer and mentor. His work does not only show on the court but off the court as well. His encouraging coaching style coupled with his profound knowledge of the game makes him irreplaceable. My son looks forward to learning new things and being challenged during training. As a parent, I could not be happier and the best part is when he notices that his hard work is paying off.
